SIPMX with the address www.sipmx.net is a website for scientific and academic purposes developed by professionals in the field, therefore at no time has it been intended to include content prohibited for minor users. However, since it is a platform where users upload their own information and can share it publicly, there may be cases where a user violates the Terms of Use (Section 8), and the user will be fully responsible for such content. Nevertheless, SIPMX is committed to carrying out routine inspections to ensure proper use of the website, and in case of detecting misuse, consequences may range from removal of the content published by the user, blocking access, or any sanctions determined by the competent authorities.

8. Terms of use

The personal data provided by the user are stored in the systems and databases of the Controller as long as the user continues to use the website and does not request their deletion.

11. What protection do user-generated data have?

Although the Controller performs backups of the content hosted on its servers, it is not responsible for the loss or accidental deletion of data by users. Likewise, it does not guarantee full restoration of data deleted by users, since such data may have been deleted and/or modified during the time elapsed since the last backup.

The services provided through the Application, except for specific backup services, do not include restoration of content stored in backups made by the Controller when such loss is attributable to the user; in this case, a fee will be determined according to the complexity and volume of recovery, subject to prior acceptance by the user. Restoration of deleted data is only included in the service price when the loss of content is due to causes attributable to the Controller.

12. How can you access, rectify, or cancel your personal data, or object to its use?

You have the right to know what personal data we have about you, what we use it for, and the conditions of its use (Access). Likewise, you have the right to request the correction of your personal information if it is outdated, inaccurate, or incomplete (Rectification); to have it deleted from our records or databases when you believe it is not being used properly (Cancellation); and to object to the use of your personal data for specific purposes (Objection).
